In order to satisfy our customers’ demands for more and more flexible manufacturing solutions, a new vertical multi-operations machine, Mazak VTC 800 featuring an integrated rotary table and a pendulum swivel head, will be installed during the autumn 2009.
The machining centre is equipped with mazatrol matrix nexus control system and tool storage for 48 tools. The RPM range is 35-18000 and the swing spindle covers -110° to +110°. The machine features a spindle designed for flexible processing of steel as well as aluminium. With a spindle effect of as much as 35 kW we will be ableto handle also heavier processing efficiently and with high quality results.
The X traverse rate is as high as 3000mm with a positioning precision of 0.02mm and a repetitive precision of 0.008mm. The Y traverse rate is 800mm, with a positioning precision of 0.012mm and a repetitive precision of 0.005mm. The C axis travel for rotary table is 360°, min positioning 0.0001°.
With the partition wall mounted on the table we will be able to use pendulum processes and other, meaning that the possibilities for switching between different fixtures will grow. The result of this will be a high and flexible working pace without foregoing our very high level of quality mindedness.
